Building the Next Generation of Believers

We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. Psalm 78:4

How To Get Right With God

All of us are born in need of a Saviour, as we are not right with God. The problem is that most of us do not realise it until the need becomes more evident through a variety of ways, or someone presents it to us.

Basically we have all sinned or offended God by our actions or thoughts. We have lied, stolen, lusted, not put God first or created a God in our own image. All of these are sins and break the Ten Commandments, just to name a few. Therefore we have all sinned against God and owe a penalty for our sins, which is death, or eternal separation from God in hell, where the blessings of God like light, rainbows, waterfalls and refreshment are no more. Hell is eternal punishment for all those who reject God’s offer to pay the penalty Himself, by sending His only Son, Jesus, to die in our place.

The good news is that Jesus died in your place, taking the sins of the world upon Himself as payment for your sin by dying. Jesus also rose from the dead and lives. However you must by faith believe and receive this for yourself, or else you remain in your sins and are due the penalty of sin, death, hell and eternally separation from God and His goodness.

Therefore if you have came onto this site, and have read this, and feel like maybe this is speaking to you, then God is drawing you. You need to respond by repenting which means changing your view of your sin to the way God views it, as wrongdoing and against Him, and changing your view about God. Then place your faith in Jesus and what He has already accomplished on the cross, by His death and resurrection. If you do this you can be forgiven of your sins, begin a relationship with God and have the hope of heaven, (paradise with God) and eternal life where there is no sickness, pain or death.

So if that is where you are at, take a moment to ask God for forgiveness, and receive Jesus as your Saviour. If you do that, you are now born again and given the Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance into heaven. If you remain undecided or decide not to do this, remember that the wrath of God remains on you and you will be judged for your sins. Also each time you reject Jesus’ offer you can become more hardened each time, so please consider this as the most important decision you will ever make.  Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
